Thanksgiving is just around the corner...

so I wanted to list a few things I'm thankful for. :)

1. My relationship with God. It just gets better everyday. My prayer life is better than it has been in a long time. It feels so good to have that "connection" with God again. In all honesty, I felt like my relationship with God was failing the standards that it should be. It's exponentially better now and that makes me feel fantastic!

2. My family. I cannot say enough about my family. I love my family so much. (This includes my husband - who I could not live without and is soooo wonderful to me!) Without all of them, my life would feel so meaningless! They mean the world to me. In every decision I make, I think, "I wonder if that would make them proud or disappoint them?" Haha. To any of my family reading this: I LOVE YOU!!

3. My house. Even though I take my space for granted, there are plenty of people who don't have it how Judd and I have it. We are so blessed with what we've started out with. So even if I complain about how we're outgrowing our house with mounds of junk, I AM thankful for the roof over my head (that is actually larger than most get to start out with!)

4. My car. In all honesty, this worldly possession means entirely too much to me. I'm gonna tell the truth here - I could NOT walk everywhere. Even though I should walk everywhere, I can't imagine walking in the rain or a terrible thunderstorm or SNOW. I'd absolutely die.

5. My pictures. I LOVE pictures. Pictures of anything. Friends, family, flowers, pets, anything! I love keeping pictures and having them plastered all over my house! Pictures make me happy.

6. My pets. Animals just melt my heart. I know, I'm such a loser. But I can't help it. I am basically the "Kacie's Animal Rescue Society" in our neighborhood. Poor Judd. We find (or try to!) homes for dogs and cats that wind up at my house. Oakley and Reese (and our stray kitty) mean the world to me! Oakley is my baby. No matter how long it's been since he's seen me, he'll come running through the house looking in every room for me. It's so funny to sit on the bed where he can't see me and watch him go from room to room - desperate to find me. When he finally does see me he comes running to my side and is thrilled see me. :) Gotta love how special animals make you feel.

Those are the six things that I am most thankful for...I'm sure I left plenty of things out but those were the first that came to mind. I think I'll taaaaaaaaaaaaaggggg....

Audra, Leah, Mandy, & Jennifer! :)
